Executive Director Susan Greenberg (she/her) works closely with and oversees all aspects of JFCS, including operations and program management, administration and human resources. To continue JFCS’ growth, Susan supports existing and forges new community partnerships with organizations within and outside the Jewish community. Most recently JFCS’ deputy director, Susan assumed leadership roles as interim manager of Holocaust Survivor Services; provided key support for newly arriving refugees escaping the war in Ukraine; and helped secure gift cards and provide resources for food-insecure clients.
Susan earned a bachelor’s in Public Administration from Indiana University.
She admits to having precious little free time and dedicates it all to her family that includes a number of pets. Susan is a local elected official, having been voted on to the Beaverton School District Board in 2013. Her mantra – “Let’s make this happen” – refers to her passion for making a difference.
