Grants & Development Specialist
Kennedy Pate (she/her) oversees all aspects of grant management, including development, submission, and reporting. She also manages the donor database and handles correspondence.
Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration from Rogers State University. Prior to joining the JFCS team, Kennedy interned at Safenet Services, a domestic violence intervention shelter in Oklahoma, where she gained experience that fueled her passion for nonprofit work and development.
Kennedy and her husband, Greg, relocated from Tulsa, OK, to Portland, OR, in August 2024. She enjoys spending time outdoors and has discovered that the Pacific Northwest offers numerous activities to explore. In her free time, Kennedy can be found hiking local trails, dining at Portland’s many great restaurants, shopping at the local farmers market, or simply enjoying time with Greg and their two dogs, Guthrie and Idabel.
