Specialties: Behavioral and mental health, including for those with disabilities

Chaviva (she/her) is a counselor who specializes in child and family behavioral health and mental health. She is particularly skilled at working with kids and families, including those who identify with disabilities. Her focus includes helping parents manage anxiety, reducing accommodation behaviors, and providing social-skills training.  

 She has also offered CBT for acceptance-based interventions around pain management. Chaviva often uses creativity-based interventions like journaling to assist in emotional regulation and identification. She also is trained to support clients with women-specific medical health issues. 

A graduate with honors from Wurtzweiler’s School of Social Work, Chaviva received an award for excellence upon receiving her degree in 2022.   

Outside of work, Chaviva focuses on her family, love of reading and hiking in Oregon’s beautiful outdoors. 

Chaviva’s schedule has openings, and she accepts OHP and will begin accepting Moda in December 2024. She also offers a sliding scale option.
