Mensches in the Trenches

Friendly Visitor
This volunteer is needed to provide friendship and support to an isolated elderly person who has a limited social network. The volunteer travels to a client?s home, or another agreed upon location in the community, to provide companionship & listening skills in a consistent and caring manner.
General Clerical Assistant
Assistants are occasionally needed to work on bulk mailing projects, stuffing envelopes, photocopying, filing, making phone calls, and other miscellaneous office tasks.
Be the Wheels
This special Mensche position matches a volunteer with older adult or disabled client for the purpose of assisting client's with transportation to various appointments or functions. This opportunity requires maturity and sensitivity, as well as a good driving record & insurance coverage of $100,000-$300,000.
